We stayed there 2 nights. Perfect for a quiet change of scenery in a magnificent setting. We were very well received, attentive staff and very good advice (I am thinking of the Pic des Pyrénées, which saved our Thursday). Only local products for breakfast and evening meals, so good. We did it as a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The Nordic bath is a plus. The teenagers were delighted. All 4 of us left delighted with our stay. I recommend without hesitation.

Great experience! The place is calm and relaxing with animals (dwarf donkey, horses). The dome is super well appointed and well insulated! As a bonus, a great welcome. We will come back with pleasure!

Good overall but several points to review given the price: It’s difficult to see the stars because there’s lots of dust on the roof… a real shame, especially since that’s kind of the point of the experience! Another bad point is the evening meal (additional charge), you don't really know what you are going to eat, it's random and stipulated on the menu, I'm willing, but only rice and chicken.. it's really average , I have never eaten such a simple dish in my life. Slight dust everywhere in the accommodation and already used tea bags in the box... which I had to open because they offered to serve me my already ready tea, which I had accepted, but when I arrived in the morning I realized that I simply had hot water... once again too bad, Also pay attention to the bedding, very very thick pillows and a bed that is starting to sink, the gap between the two is not very comfortable. (But that’s just a personal opinion!) I think it is good to point out that the dovecote and the tent are on the side of the path which leads to the gîte, when you want privacy it is a bit annoying! Attention (to be confirmed but I hope I'm wrong!) also to the Nordic bath which can be booked for 1h30 at an additional cost, is located on the grounds of "the tent". (even if I rather suppose that there must be one on each housing plot, I advise you to ask the question) Cobweb in the shower of the shared bathroom, even if you have to leave the window open for humidity, a little feather duster would be welcome! (Also be careful not to see the view of the Pic du Midi in all the accommodations… super disappointed..) My comment obviously stands, given the price, I have already had several unusual nights in other places which did not have all its problems, for a lower price! Perhaps lower it slightly, or at least offer the evening meal and a small aperitif board.

The welcome was impeccable, the dovecote is a very surprising and original converted building. Very tasty meal and Nordic bath with a view of the valley and the mountains. Thank you for these wonderful services.

Reception on arrival OK. Overnight accommodation OK. We agree it's an unusual place in a beautiful general and calm setting. But the hotel service to forget!! Super disappointing!!! I have never seen a bathroom in such a state in a hotel or lodge. And even around the cabin it's a mess! It's very nice of you to do that but for €218 per night, plus 2 obligatory nights, everything should be perfect. And it's an understatement to say that we are people who are used to this type of service since as soon as we go on vacation we always stay at least 1 night in an unusual cabin or other stay, sometimes even less expensive for more service. And this for 10 years. So, in detail, the leaking shower head. And not just a little, so it's impossible that it dates from today as she says. Perhaps previous customers have not indicated this, it should be checked every day. But if only that was it. There is tartar on this apple. The joints are worse than dirty, it's black, the grab bar is rusty and black. There are cobwebs on the ceiling including in the shower stall. They didn't arrive overnight either. My husband has a bit of a strong stomach, he was just getting into the cabin and dropped the shower curtain bar which was barely holding. Wash yourself in the bathtub she says, yes but there is no curtain and we didn't pay to wash at grandma's house. You want the unusual, you have the great, aging rustic. I had the impression of being at my grandmother's house, not in a hotel or lodge. It is under an old staircase after crossing an area like almost the rest, moderately maintained. Even if we are aware of the unusual, a better and more pleasant space should be created. The important thing is not only where you sleep but also everything else. So yes they will repair it, but it shouldn't have been like that in the first place. Everything should be maintained perfectly for the price. Supporting photos of the condition. If that was all it was. The interior of the cabin is correct. We slept well. But it's not normal for the broom, the cleaning products, and a half-broken slush box to be lying around here and there. It may indeed be an oversight but given the accumulation it is overkill. Facilities should be provided for this purpose; you must put your hands in the sockets to turn on a light. With children it's great. And the pompom. We were so disgusted with the bathroom that we barely ate lunch. Maybe it's good local products. But crushed croissants, a half-moldy basket in which they bring it to you. And a crate in the same condition as the bathroom to find the basket. Full of spiders. Supporting photos. And yet I am from the countryside so I know but it must be maintained in such a service. Finally, to top it all off, and like in 2 other reviews that I read, the owner only sees his money. She listens to the problem but doesn't seem very interested. It will be fixed. Yes, but is the rest normal? The money is good but being the boss is not just profit, it must be used for the maintenance and development of the entire premises and not just the middle, forgetting the corners. We did not stay for the 2nd night, even though we were not reimbursed, because we wanted to wash properly this evening and tomorrow morning after a long day of hiking which was not possible there. Especially since you have to return before 7:00 p.m. to wash. And only from 8 a.m. We got a refund of 50€ out of 400€ wow, even though we only spent 1 night out of 2. When you are a businessman you reimburse the customer correctly if he is unhappy. No refund for the 2nd night which prevents us from washing, which is why I leave this review which is not at all abusive, the photos will speak for themselves. I don't pollute either, I give the truth. I will not recommend this establishment.

Superb night in the Big’Bulle! The food was very good (raclette + breakfast). Very welcoming and attentive staff! The place is magical, relaxing and quiet. The private Nordic bath in the bubble is really great and we can make the most of it! The area is very beautiful, I really recommend this place :)

An idyllic place, we were lucky enough to stay there twice (once in the snow and once in summer) It’s a pure delight, the setting is magnificent, the place is calm …
